About
Hello, I'm Phil
Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I'm Phil — a 46-year-old from Manchester (yes, sunny Manchester, and I'm sticking to that). This site is the home for everything I do: my novels, upcoming work, book links and pricing, and a steady stream of new content as it comes.
Writing is what I love most, so a lot of what you'll find here is devoted to that. I'll be sharing my favourite writers, my favourite books, and pretty much anything to do with literature that catches my eye. Expect the occasional other thing thrown into the mix too — I like to keep it interesting.
I've got three novels out so far, with book four on the way — keep an eye out for that one. If you're new here, the best place to start is the Books page. And if you want to get in touch, the Contact page is always open.

On Writing
“As a reader I want to feel what the character feels, so I can be a part of their story.”
“Smile and the world smiles with you, fart and you stand alone.”
“I looked up at the sky last night and saw the stars, and thought to myself, damn where's my ceiling?”
